Collection of Art Photography

The emerging Collection of Art Photography currently comprises 30 photographs by Ante Verzotti, donated to the Museum following his solo exhibition Apropos Split at the Emanuel Vidović Gallery (complete exhibition). It also includes a photograph by Josip Klarica, donated to the Museum after his retrospective exhibition at the same gallery in 2011, and four works by Nikola Vučemilović, a leading figure in Split’s art photography, donated by Arsen Duplančić. More recently, the Collection has been expanded with six photographs by Veljko Vidović, a Split-based interwar photographer, acquired by the Split City Museum in 2024.
